Nancy L. Linger, age 91 of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born July 5, 1920 in Grafton, WV, a daughter of the late Eldon and Helen Cline Nye. On June 4, 1950 she married Aubrey Linger who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Gail Linger of Pittsburgh, PA and Janice Huffman of Buckhannon; one grandson, Jason Huffman also of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step mother Ethel Nye who lovingly raised her after her mother’s death; three brothers, Bud, Paul and Tom Nye and two sisters, Dorothy Nye and Hetty Finster. She was a homemaker. Friends will be received Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Friday at the funeral Home with Pastor Bobbie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at the Lorentz Cemetery in Lorentz, WV. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
