Miriam E. Mallonee, age 89, of Buckhannon, WV died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born January 9, 1922 in Louisville, OH, a daughter of the late Samuel and Rhea Henning Schnaffer. On September 13, 1946 she married William B. Mallonee who preceded her in death on January 25, 1981. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson, William R. Mallonee; one brother, William Schnaffer and one sister, Naomi Calhoun. She is survived by one son, Rev. Gary L. Mallonee and wife Lois I. Serrine of Buckhannon; one grandson, Gary Thomas Mallonee of CA and two step granddaughters, Sandra and Mary Serrine both of Buckhannon. Mrs. Mallonee was a store clerk for G.C. Murphy of Buckhannon. Friends will be received Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L.
