Mildred Ann Miller, age 70, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the home of her daughter in Buckhannon while under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born June 23, 1941 in Buckhannon a daughter of the late William Michaels and Opal Wiseman Michaels Painter. On October 7, 1973 she married Arthur French Miller who preceded her in death on October 9, 1985. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jessica Nichole Wimer; one great grandson Elijah Nicholas Linger and one sister. Mrs. Miller is survived by two daughters, Barbara Gower and husband Terry of Buckhannon and Patty Fisher and companion Mike Brown of Rock Cave; one son, Richard Paugh and wife Cindy of Buckhannon six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and a member of the Tallmansville Baptist Church. Friends will be received Friday, November 25, 2011 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Chad Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Union Church Cemetery. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
