Helen Lucille Stemple, 90, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Born in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura Engler Eller. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Philippi Chapter 41. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Stemple and her son-in-law, Salvatore Roberto. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ellen Roberto; her sister, Louise Haddix and her brother, James Rowan. A graveside service will be conducted at 12:30 pm on Friday, February 25, 2011 in Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery, US119 South, Philippi, WV 26416. A gathering of family and friends will be held for one hour prior to the service from 11:00 to12:00 in Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 S. Main St. Philippi, WV 26416.
