MARILYN ANN TALKINGTON Marilyn Ann Talkington, 76, Of Philippi, died Tuesday evening, March 1, at her home, following an extended illness. She was born November 8, 1934, at Canton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ira and Mildred ( Edelman) Deckman. Her husband, Clifton Russell Talkington, preceded her in death on October 11, 2006. Survivors include, three daughters, Kathern Louise Findley and Tom Delauder, with whom she made her home, Tina Watson and husband, Dave, Philippi, Patricia Schwamb and husband, Wesley, Austin, Tx.; two sons, Larry Brian Talkington and wife, Regina, Marlinton, Clifton Eugene Talkington and wife, Betty, Philippi; three sisters, Loretta Gribble and Dorothy Farnsworth, both of Canton, Helen Brock, in Florida; two sisters, Glen Deckman, Canton and William Deckman, in Florida; sixteen grandchldren, eight great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Randy Russell Talkington and Michael William Talkington; by two sisters, Betty Young and Norma Bible; and by one brother, David Deckman. Mrs. Talkington was a homemaker and was a Baptist by faith. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 4, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 South Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. Julie Miller will officiate and interment will follow in the Clemtown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday and from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Friday. The Stemple & Forman Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
