William “John” Mallow, 65, a resident of Huttonsville, passed from this life Tuesday evening, March 5, 2013, at Crestview Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Jane Lew. John was born Wednesday, May 21, 1947 in Elkins, a son of the late Willie J. Mallow and Mary Louise Stewart Mallow. Left to cherish John’s memory is his sister, Miriam Sue Mallow of Elkins, his brother, Richard A. Mallow of Elkins, his niece, Elizabeth S. Mallow, two nephews, Christopher A. Mallow and Patrick A. Thompson, and a great nephew, Elliott Clay Arbogast. John was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1966, and he had served with the United States Army during Vietnam. He had worked for the Elkins Inter-mountain for thirty-five years. He was a member of the Elkins-randolph County Senior Center. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed NASCAR Racing. Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 12 noon until 2PM, the funeral hour. The Rev. Dr. Basil A. Hensley will officiate and interment will follow at the American Legion’s Little Arlington Cemetery where member of the H.W. Daniels Post #29, American Legion, the Tygarts Valley Post #3647, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the WV Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.
