Marie Click Hill 1930-2013 Obituary
Marie Click Hill, 83, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Sunday morning, May 19, 2013, at her home. She was born Thursday, May 1, 1930 in Monterville, a daughter of the late Cecil Ray Click and Mertis Ferguson Click. She was married William ‘Bill’ Hill who survives in Elkins. Others left to cherish Marie’s memory are one brother: Cecil R. Click II of Elkins, three grandchildren: Rob Riggleman of Philadelphia, Jamie Eubanks of SC, Kevin Dudley of Elkins, and six great grandchildren. Preceding her in death besides her parents were two children: David Riggleman and Pam Dudley and one sister: Betty Clayton. Marie attended the schools of Randolph County and graduated Tygarts Valley High School in 1948. She worked as the deli manager at the A&P Store and was co-owner/operator of the Homestead Cantina Restaurant in Dailey and Atlantic Beach, NC. Marie was an accomplished and well respected artist known for her gift with water colors and oil paint. She was also very adventurous and enjoyed flying planes, skiing, riding bicycles and motorcycles and pretty much anything outdoors. Marie‘s request for cremation was honored. Interment will be at the Beverly Cemetery. You may pay your respects to Marie after Friday.
