Russell Edmund “Russ” Petre, 46, a resident of Weston, passed from this life Friday, June 28, 2013, at home. He was born Wednesday, February 8, 1967 in Baltimore MD, a son of Robert Parker Sr who survives in Weston and the late Janice Stephens. Also left to cherish Russ’ memory are three daughters: Haley, McKayla and Penelope Petre, all of Weston, three sisters: Pamela Petre and Fawn “Leroy” Parker, both of Elkins, and Cheyenne Parker of Weston, two brothers: Robert Parker Jr and wife Helen and Braylon “Bobble Head” Parker, all of Weston, and the love of his life, Heather Petre of Weston. Preceding him in death besides his mother was one sibling: Lori Petre. Russ attended the schools of Lewis county and graduated from Lincoln Technical Automotive in Baltimore, MD. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and fishing. Russ will always be remembered for being the biggest jokester and would do almost anything to make someone laugh. But above all, Russ loved his daughters more than anything in this world. Russ’ request for cremation was honored and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
