Pamela Kay Taylor Nitz 53 a resident of Beverly, West Virginia entered into her eternal home to be with her Saviour, on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Having suffered for many years from the effects of Crohn’s disease, she is now at peace and suffering no more. Her final days where spent at Hospice Care of Elkins, West Virginia surrounded by her family and under the watchful eye of a devoted nursing staff who were kind and loving to her. Pamela was born on January 4, 1960 to Lawson and Opal Taylor. On October 10, 1987 she married the love of her life, her devoted husband Jon Nitz. He stood with her through sickness and in health and will now cherish her memories until they meet again. Also left to cherish her memory is her beloved son Jason Alan Daniels of Martinsburg, West Virginia, who she is very proud of and loves with all her heart. They shared many priceless moments together and also shared an unbreakable bond of love. Surviving as well are Pam’s five loving brothers, Jack Taylor of Newton Falls, Ohio. Mike and Tammie Taylor of Silver Springs, Maryland. Lloyd Taylor of Proctorville, Ohio. David and Tina Taylor of Mill Creek, West Virginia. And from Dailey, West Virginia, Robin Armstrong and Pam’s loving brother Tim Taylor, who remained by her side during her last days until her final hour. They share a special bond, as well as the disease of Crohns. Pam is also survived by five sisters, who will forever cherish her sweet memory. Janet and Garey McCartney of McDonald, Ohio. Debbie and Larry Whitcomb of Mill Creek, West Virginia. Marcy and John of Mill Creek, West Virginia. Lisa and Joe George of Cassity, West Virginia. Also from Cassity, West Virginia, Dave Shreve and Pam’s beloved sister Bobbie of whom she also shares a special bond, and the disease of Crohns. The other ones left to cherish and remember Pam are her many nieces and nephews whom she loves dearly, her mother-in-law Gloria who for weeks upon end spent many a night and day taking care of Pam during times of her illness, who treated her as one of her own. Her beloved stepmother, Pansy Taylor who enjoyed going shopping and to yard sales with Pam. Her special aunt Jeanne Fincham Jones, with whom she has for years shared many inspirational correspondences. Last but not least is her in-home caregiver, the loving Juanita Underwood, who went above and beyond her duties as a caregiver, to become a beloved member of our family and like a second mother to our dear Pam. And Pam’s beloved little chihuahua Lily, who lay by Pam’s side throughout many times of sickness. Lily was loved like no other pet. Pam was greeted at Heaven’s gate by those who proceeded her in this journey. Her loving parents Lawson and Opal Taylor, one brother Gary Taylor, and his son Gary Taylor Jr, both of whom she loved dearly. Three infant siblings who will now have the chance to meet and know the most wonderful sister they could ever have. And her own little infant son Keith Bradley Daniels, who only got to share a brief moment upon this earth with his mother, but will now be cradled in her loving arms for all of eternity. Also anxiously awaiting her arrival was her other beloved pet, her beautiful Sheltie dog, Wiley, who was also loved like no other. Pam attended the schools of Mill Creek, West Virginia. She was one of 12 children, having been raised in a large extended family, she grew up surrounded by many who love her, and in return she loved many. She developed the disease of Crohns early in her life but did not allow that to slow her down or stop her from being a devoted wife and mother, as well as a devout Christian. Pam served her Lord and lived her life upon his word. She was a homemaker, who although because of her illness was limited as to what she could eat, had an absolute love of food. She loved cooking and baking the old fashioned way, from scratch. She devoted many hours to creating wonderful meals and desserts to feed to others. She was a giver and loved to bless others in any way she could. Pam was and always will be our inspiration. She told us shortly before her departure that she had a song titled “There’s a Miracle in the Making” and that she felt this song’s lyrics were written just for her. “She pressed through until she touched his garment. Oh and right then and there, her miracle was full filled.” God bless us all until we meet with our angel Pam again. Visitation will be held at the Way of Holiness Church in Buckhannon on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 11AM until 1PM, the funeral hour. Reverend Jerry Murrell will officiate and interment will follow at Mountain State Memorial Gardens in Gilman.
