Michael “Mike” Huffnagel, 70, a resident of Valley Bend, passed from this life Thursday morning, March 6, 2014 at the Hospice Inpatient Center in Elkins. Mike was born Wednesday, October 27, 1943 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, a son of the late Margaret Spetzel. On July 16, 1964 in Cleveland, OH, he was married to the former Lorena Wegman who survives. Others left to cherish Mike’s memory are his children, Michael Huffnagel, Jr. of Beverly, Bobby Huffnagel and wife, Kathy of Elkins, and Cindy Postles and husband, George of Dailey, his brother, Konrad Huffnagel and wife, Mavis and his sister, Emily Henderson and husband, Art, all of Ohio, his four grandchildren, Amy, Megan H., Brittany, and Megan P., and his great granddaughter, Addyson. Mike attended school in Ohio, and was a self-taught TV technician for forty years having spent thirty-six of those years in West Virginia as the owner and operator of Mike’s TV and then, M&S Electronics. He enjoyed fishing, ginsenging, playing cards, softball, and bowling. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mike’s request for cremation was honored. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home chapel on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2 until 4 pm during which time, Pastor Jack Howell will conduct a brief memorial service.
