Robert “Dale” Louk, 53, passed from this life Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in St. Augustine, FL as a result of injuries sustained in a hit and run accident. Dale was born Thursday, January 5, 1961 in Moundsville, a son of Robert “Bob” Louk and Sarah “Sally” Jane Burke Louk who survive in Valley Head. Also left to cherish Dale’s memory is one child, Penny N. Garner of Iowa, one brother, William “Billy” J. Louk of Valley Head, three grandchildren, several aunts and uncles, one niece Bobbi Marie Harding and special “niecster”, Jonni Ann Louk. Preceding Dale in death were two infant brothers, James Edward and Kenneth Allen Louk. Dale was a graduate of Northwest High School, Indianapolis, IN and had attended Ball State University in IN. He thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors walking and fishing. He had been employed as a flooring installer and a licensed insurance agent. Dale was baptized at Grace Brethren Church in Indianapolis, IN. A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 11:00A to 1:00P, the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Mingo Cemetery.
