Nancy Lorraine Collins Green, 71, a resident of Kerens, passed from this life Friday, December 12, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. Nancy was born on Friday, May 21, 1943 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Ralph A. Collins and Genevieve “Polly” Arbogast Collins. Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Karen Russell and husband, Phil of Kerens, Becky Green and companion, Matt Waddell of Valley Bend, and Doretha “Tink” Ott and husband, Robbie of Elkins, two brothers, Mikey Collins and Woody Collins, seven grandchildren, Abigail, Tosha, Dustin, Brandon, Takoda, Lucas, and Autumn, and one great grandson, Aksel. Nancy was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Collins. Nancy attended the schools of Randolph County, and had worked at the White Front Restaurant. She enjoyed making crafts, bird watching, playing cards, and she loved spending time with her family and friends. The family’s request for cremation was honored. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 4P-8P at Nancy’s house on Pheasant Mtn Rd. A memorial service will be conducted during that time.
