Daniel “Danny” Ray Taylor Jr., 42, A resident of Elkins, passsed from this life Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Danny was born Saturday, April 15, 1972 in Elkins, a son of the late Daniel Ray Taylor Sr. and Peggy Ann Scott who survives in Elkins. On November 14, 1993 in Beverly, he married the former Waleena Dawn Chenoweth who survives in Elkins. Also left to cherish Danny’s memory are three children, Megan Colleen Taylor of SC, Ashley Dawn Booth and husband Dakota of NY and Chloie Brett Taylor of Elkins, one sister, Angela Dawn Vaughn and husband Paul of SC, two grandchildren, Zachary Allan and Lilliana Tiare Booth, and parents in law, Kathy and Bobby Chenoweth. Preceding Danny in death besides his father was one aunt, Mary Murphy and one cousin, Christopher VanPelt. Danny was a graduate of Elkins High School. He had been employed by several local businesses in the area. Danny enjoyed fishing and loved to work on cars and electronics. He will be remembered as a very caring and giving man. His children were his world. Danny’s request for cremation was honored. Visitation with the family will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 5PM until 6PM, the funeral hour. Rev. Roger Foster will officiate.
