SANDRA LEE “SANDY” GOSS, age 67 years, a resident of Parsons, WV departed this life Friday evening, April 29, 2011 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown, WV.
She was born Tuesday, September 28, 1943 at Parsons, WV, a daughter of the late Leo H. Goss, Sr. and Elloween L. “Pat” Nestor Goss.
Surviving are her companion, Cindy Williams; one half brother, Leo H. Goss, Jr. and Jan; one half sister, Margaret K.”Maggie” Chambers and husband Matthew, all of Parsons and seven nieces, four nephews and three great nieces.
She was a graduate of Parsons High School. She was the former owner and operator of the Thrift Store of Parsons until her retirement. She had a great love for animals. She enjoyed reading mystery novels and genealogy.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home parlor on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 1:30PM. The Rev. Jeff Anderson will officiate and interment will follow at the Parsons City Cemetery at Parsons. The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for SANDRA LEE “SANDY” GOSS.
