Allien Berry, age 95, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Nursing Care Facility in Buckhannon. She was born August 24, 1917 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Russell and Dessie Hiner Huffman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lyda Dean who died in 1967; second husband, Bob Berry who died in 1988; one daughter, Phyliss Dean and two sisters, Pat Bunce and Betty Brown. She is survived by one son, Ronald Dean of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Lisa Dean of Huntington, WV and a niece, Sherry Bunce of Colville, WA. Mrs. Berry was a cook for Leonard Memorial Hospital in Buckhannon. A graveside service will be held 10 AM, Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Sand Run Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Michael Tallman officiating.
