Clarence L. “Bud” Warner, age 74, of Buckhannon, WV died Thursday, May 9, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born November 17, 1938 in Hackers Creek, WV, a son of the late Leslie and Clara Lantz Warner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Nicholas Warner; one brother, Charles Warner and one sister, Betty Crites. He is survived by two sons, Patrick Leslie Warner and wife Deanna and Timothy Ryan Warner both of Buckhannon; two daughters, Allison Marie Warner of Buckhannon and Tammy Chidester and husband Rick of Abbott, WV; two grandsons, Tyler Leslie Warner of Buckhannon and Alex Chidester of Abbott; two granddaughters, Rachel and Courtney Chidester both of Abbott; one brother, William Earl Warner of Hodgesville, WV and several nieces and nephews. “Bud” was a truck driver for 43 years for Martin Oil Company. He was a former member of the Pleasant Dale United Methodist Church. Friends will be received Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Heavner officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, WV. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
