Billie Beth Adams, age 85, of Buckhannon, WV died Thursday, May 16 2013 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home. She was born August 18, 1927 in Webster Springs, WV, a daughter of the late Deward Clive and Bertha Dora Studivan Hammond. On November 7, 1947 she married Max Adams who survives. Also surviving are one son, Michael Adams and wife Rebecca of Kingsport, TN; one daughter, Suzzanne Chapman and husband Larry of West Milford, WV; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Deward Hammond of Webster County, WV and Larry Hammond of Jane Lew, WV and one sister, Rosemary Gillespie of Bedford, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ellen Spinks and Elizabeth Arthur. Mrs. Adams worked for Moore Business Forms. Memorial services will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Masonic Temple 35 Park Street, Buckhannon, WV 26201 with Pastor John Hinkle officiating.
