Robert C. “Herbie” Anderson, age 59, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born August 12, 1954 in Spencer, WV, a son of the late Edgar and Rosalie Cordray Anderson. He is survived by one brother, Tom Anderson and wife Mickie of Buckhannon; one sister, Susie Howes of Clarksville, TN and four nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Buckhannon Elks Lodge # 1736, the Buckhannon Moose Lodge # 598 and was a former member of Buckhannon VFD. Friends will be received Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
