Edith Logsdon, age 83, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, October 30, 2013. She was born November 12, 1929. She was a descendant of pioneer families in Marshall County, the daughter of the late Harry and Olive Campbell Logsdon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Virginia and foster parents, Dr. Ralph G. Cutright, MD and wife Byrd Rohrbough Cutright. She is survived by many cousins. Edith had careers in education, banking and social services, mainly in Florida. She was a graduate of Moundsville High School and West Virginia Wesleyan College, a post graduate of Florida State University and the University of Florida. She traveled extensively and enjoyed family, friends, gardening and many hobbies. Edith was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Buckhannon, Circle 2, Buckhannon Women’s Club and The Fostoria Glass Society of America. She was also a former secretary of WV Wesleyan Emeritus Club, President of the College Club and Vice President of Teter C.E.O.S. There will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the discretion of the family with a burial at the Rock Cave Cemetery in Rock Cave, WV.
