Carolyn S. Cussins, age 69, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, December 16, 2013 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born October 25, 1944 in Upshur Co., WV, a daughter of the late Arnold and Ida Belle Ours Tenney. On May 29, 1965 she married John Cussins who survives. In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Tenney and husband Mark of Buckhannon; two granddaughters, Devan and DeAnna Tenney both of Buckhannon; one brother, Gohen Tenney of Buckhannon; two nephews, Doug Tenney and wife Missy and Daniel Tenney all of Buckhannon and one great niece, Julia Tenney of Buckhannon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Vernon Tenney. Mrs. Cussins was a cook at Holbrook’s Nursing Home. She loved to cook and sew and had worked for Reidbord Bros. for over 20 years. Friends will be received Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 1-3 PM at the Poling- St. Clair Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 3 PM Thursday at the funeral home with Shawn Bowers officiating. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
