OBITUARY: MATTHEW WILLIAM CORDER Matthew William Corder, 31, of Junior died Saturday, April 6, 2013. He was born January 1, 1982, at Elkins, the eldest son of William Donald and Julia Ellen (Lothes) Corder, who survive at Junior. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Kaleb Gabriel Corder, age four, and Kaleb’s mother, Sara Coberly, Belington; one brother, Eric Michael Corder, Fairmont; his paternal grandparents, William Edward and Violet Jean (Proudfoot) Corder, Junior; three aunts, Linda & Chuck Coleman, Belington, Cecelia Cacace and Sunny Austin, of Elkins; two uncles, Wilfred & Gail Lothes, Ellamore, Maj. John U.S.A.F. (Ret.) & Wilga Lothes, Elkins, and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wilfred and DeSales Lothes. Matthew was a 2000 graduate of Philip Barbour High School where he was a Blue Chip Trophy recipient for Football, Wrestling and Baseball. He had attended Fairmont State College and was Catholic by faith. He was an avid hunter and loved all sports. He enjoyed participating in Mixed Martial Arts and Power Lifting.
