Lori Ann Cochran, age 48 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away Friday evening, September 14, 2012 in the Emergency Department of the Davis Memorial Hospital. She was born March 31, 1964 at Webster Springs, a daughter of the late Robert Landon Cochran and Carolyn June Forman Cochran. She is survived by one aunt, Betty Jane Skidmore and several cousins. Also surviving is her best friend Mikki Summerfield of Buckhannon and her dogs, Shylea and Emma . Lori was a 1983 graduate of Elkins High School. She was a volunteer at the Davis Memorial Hospital and an active member of the Davis Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She attended the Otterbein United Methodist Church of Elkins. Lori was a generous person who was always willing to help another person in need.
Friends may call from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 18th from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Murphy officiating. Lori will then be moved to the Garrett County Memorial Gardens at Oakland, MD where friends may call from 1:30 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Otterbein United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 1100 South Davis Ave., Elkins, WV 26241 or the Randolph County Humane Society, P. O. Box 785, Elkins, WV 26241. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Lori Ann Cochran.
