Roxie Louise Tacy Howard, 83, a resident of Dailey and a lifelong resident of Randolph County passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 18, 2012 at the Davis Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born Saturday, October 6, 1928 at Adolph, a daughter of the late Sherman Tacy and Ruby Cutright Tacy. She was united in marriage on October 15, 1945 to Burl Lee Howard who preceded her in death in 1980. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Iris Lee Arbogast, her brother, Jimmy Tacy, her sister, Jean Smith, and an infant brother. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Mary Ann Rennix and husband, Leon, of Valley Bend, four grandchildren, Gary Lee Arbogast and wife, Tammy, of Beverly, Burl Mark Rennix and wife, Laurie, Mary Katherine Brown and husband, Robert, all of Valley Bend, and Crystal Dawn McCauley and husband, Duane, of Conway, SC, five great grandchildren, Ashley Arbogast of Beverly, Shane Brown, Faith Brown, Jared Brown, and Caitlyn Rennix all of Valley Bend, one step great granddaughter, Samantha Cook of Beverly, one sister, Beverly Ann Arbogast of Pennsylvania, one brother, Cecil Tacy of Clarksburg, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Ed Richards of Morgantown. She had attended the schools of Randolph County, was a homemaker, and she enjoyed hunting and fishing.
