Obituary: Thomas Junior Moran Thomas Junior Moran, 72, of Hunter’s Fork Road, Belington, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, following a several week illness. He was born December 30, 1939, on Hunter’s Fork, Belington, a son of the late Thomas Moran Sr. and the late Jessie T. (Lantz) Moran. Surviving are one son, Timothy Leon Moran, Kearneysville; one daughter, Sherry Lena Moran, Tucson, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Cain Junior Allen And Jessica Lena Peters; one great grandson, Gavin Junior Allen; and his former wife, Dovie Opal (Cross) Moran. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and a sister. Mr. Moran was a retired heavy equipment operator in construction. He was a member of the AARP and formerly attended the United Brethren Church on Hunter’s Fork. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from the Schoonover – Stemple funeral chapel, 609 Crim Avenue, Belington. The Rev. Joe Carl Delauder will officiate and interment will follow in the Lambert Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Thursday. The Schoonover – Stemple Funeral Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
