Lee ‘Grumpy’ Clayton Dilley, 78, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life early Saturday morning, April 7, 2012 at the Davis Memorial Hospital. He was born December 13, 1933 at Mill Point, a son of the late Boyd Ulderick Dilley and Lucille Arbogast Dilley. Lee graduated from Hillsboro High School. He was a Truck Driver for fifty-six years with many various companies, of which he spent many years with Burns Trucking. Lee loved driving trucks. Lee drove a Mack Truck for which he received plaques in recognition for being a member of the One Million Mile Club two times over. He was a member of the Grace Ministries Church at Valley Head. Lee is survived by five children, Arlie Lee Dilley and wife, Stephanie, of Slatyfork, Stephanie Lewis and husband, Johnny, of Huttonsville, Julie Ann Finlen and husband, Eric, of Huttonsville, Leann Nicole Dilley and Leeza Rose Dilley both of Mill Creek, two brothers, Robert Dilley and wife, Wilma, of Dunmore and John Dilley of Marlinton, seven grandchildren, Josh Dilley and wife, Cheryl, Elizabeth Wood, Chase Gum, Bailey Finlen, Cole Finlen, Damian Finlen, and Faith Dilley, three great grandchildren, Dylan Weatherholt, Caleb and Noah Dilley, and special friends, Steve, Sheri, Jacob, and Hannah Currence, Jessica Taylor, David Braydon, and Connor Armstrong. Preceding Lee in death was one brother, David Dilley. Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Monday from 6 until 8 PM. On Tuesday, April 10, 2012, Mr. Dilley will be moved to Grace Ministries Church at Valley Head, where friends may call from 1PM until 2 PM, the funeral hour. Steve Currence will officiate and interment will follow at the Gibson Cemetery at Slatyfork.
