Reatice Loy Fultz, age 92, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, December 30, 2011 at the WV Veteran’s Nursing Facility in Clarksburg, WV. He was born August 19, 1919 at Indian Camp, WV, a son of the late Willie Orven and Lona Gray Gould Fultz. On February 8, 1947 he married Nora Lee Bragg who survives. Also surviving are four sons, William Lynn Fultz and wife Jacquie J. of Buckhannon, Joseph Wayne Fultz of Buckhannon, Orvin Lee Fultz and wife Jessie of French Creek, WV and Timothy Ellis Fultz and wife Sandra of French Creek; two daughters, Mary Dean and husband Larry of Buckhannon and Naomi Dianne Dean and husband William Gene of Shinnston, WV; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Vera and Wilda Fultz. Mr. Fultz was a coal miner, a Christian by faith and a member of the French Creek Chapter # 36 DAV. He served in the US Army during WWII. Friends will be received Monday, January 2, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 10 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Camp Church Cemetery in French Creek. Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion and DAV Chapters # 5 & # 36 will conduct Military Honors at the graveside.
