Michael Lynn “Uncle Mike” Kesling, age 59, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. He was born December 20, 1952 in Upshur County, a son of the late Paul Henry and Katherine Smith Kesling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Sigler and two brothers, Thomas Paul and Ronald Lee Kesling. He is survived by one son, Ryan Kesling of Baltimore, MD; one daughter, Dana Kesling of Cockeysville, MD and three sisters, Barbara Weaver of Buckhannon, Sue Barron of York, PA and Lois Hain and husband Adam of New Freedom, PA. Mr. Kesling was a Landscaper. He was a Methodist by faith and a member of the Buckhannon Moose Lodge # 598, Elks Lodge # 1736 and was the “Mayor of the north end”. Friends will be received Friday, March 16, 2012 from 1-2 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Calvin McCutcheon officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
