Clevie Davidson, age 81, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born September 1, 1930 in Pickens, WV, a daughter of the late William E. and Cleva C. Wilson Davidson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Carl, Dana, Arthur, Woodroe, Delbert and Vorse Davidson and three sisters, Glenna Davidson, Tressie and Anna Wilson. Clevie worked at the Senior Center with the meals on wheels program. She wrote a lot of poetry, some of which was published. She was a Sunday School Teacher at the Way Of Holiness Church for over 40 years. She had worked at Ames, F.W. Woolworth and Wal-mart as a sales clerk. Friends will be received Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the Way Of Holiness Church. Funeral service will be held 10 AM Thursday at the church with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Pickens, WV. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
