Brenice Tyde Aylestock 1926-2012 Obituary
Brenice Tyde Aylestock, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at her home under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice.
She was born February 24, 1926 in Tallmansville, WV, a daughter of the late Russell T. and Lola Myrtle Tenney Riggs.
On November 30, 1946 she married James Edwin Aylestock who preceded her in death on October 9, 2007.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Dewain L. Aylestock; one brother, Louis Riggs and two sisters, Virginia Dale Ratcliff and Maxine Anglin.
She is survived by two sons, Larry A. Aylestock and wife Janet F. of Buckhannon and Bernard L. Aylestock and wife Cathy of Buffalo Lake, WV; one daughter, Charlotte Simmons and husband Glenn of Lutherville, MD; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Aylestock was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Oak Mound Evangelical Congregational Church of Clarksburg, WV and a member of the Ladies Missionary Society of her church.
Friends will be received Friday, November 23, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor David Baker and the Rev. O. D. Harman officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Joseph’s Hospice. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
