John A. Davis, age 49, of Springfield, GA died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at his home. He was born January 3, 1963 in Akron, OH, a son of Mary Burr Davis of Clarksburg, WV and the late Arnet Davis. On June 19, 1988 he married Vanessa Lewis who survives. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by one son, Gentry Davis of Springfield; one daughter, Anastasia Elmgren and husband Will of Jacksonville, NC; one brother, Timothy Davis of Springfield; three sisters, Joanne Holliday and husband Bill of New Brausels, TX, Cathy Keener of Anmoore, WV and June Ron of Clarksburg, WV and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Davis was a Branch Manager for Value Part, Inc. Friends will be received Monday, December 31, 2012 from 9-11 AM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor George Bramble officiating. Burial will follow in the Floral Hill Memorial Gardens at Quiet Dell, WV. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
