Marcelene A. Sapp, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, December 21, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon, WV. She was born July 21, 1926 in Taylor County, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Hurbert and Lula Orrell Demoss Saucer. On November 25, 1954 she married Eugene J. Sapp who preceded her in death on December 19, 2011. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dorsey, Willis, and Thomas Saucer and three sisters, Hazel Nye and Martha Louise Saucer and a twin sister Cathleen Cooper. She is survived by one son, Timothy Sapp of Buckhannon; one daughter, Sheri-lyn Sapp of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sapp was a homemaker and a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church. She graduated from Salem College. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 5-8 PM at Seventh-day Adventist Church. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Thursday at the church with the Pastor Rick Cutright officiating. Burial will follow in Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
