Obituary: RAY M. HALLER Ray M. Haller, 74, a resident of the Wallace B. Murphy Nursing Care Facility, Grafton, formerly of Philippi, died Saturday, January 14, in the Grafton City Hospital. He was born December 21, 1937, at Simpson, Taylor County, a son of the late Henry Melvin and Bessie ((Workman) Haller. He is survived by one brother, J. B. “Junior” Haller, Lorain, Oh. and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Catherine Shaffer and Helen Marie Haller and by one brother, Earnest Henry Haller. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:15 A.M. on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. Pastor Bryan Headley will officiate and interment will follow in the Bluemont Cemetery at Grafton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Monday and from 9:00 until 11:15 A.M., the funeral hour, on Tuesday. Stemple & Forman Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
