Obituary: Jackie Allen Auvil Jackie Allen Auvil, 49, a resident of City Trailer Park, Philippi, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at his home. He was born December 27, 1962, at Grafton, a son of the late Hoy Junior and Wilda Katherine (Bolyard) Auvil. Surviving are three sisters, Betty Ann Auvil, Mary Lea Auvil and Joy Lou Auvil, all of White Oak Community; two brothers, Donald Lynn Auvil and Roger Duane Auvil and wife, Macel, all of White Oak; and one niece, Danielle Rush, White Oak. Mr. Auvil was a graduate of Philip Barbour High School. He had been employed as a construction helper by North Central Community Action and as a grounds keeper by Barbour Country Club. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 4, 2012, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 South Main Street, Philippi. Interment will follow in the Central Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Saturday and from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Sunday. Stemple & Forman Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
