Obituary: Ruth Ann Sellards Ruth Ann Sellards, 73, of Rt. #4, Philippi, died Tuesday morning, November 6, 2012, in the Hubbard House Hospice Center, Charleston, following an extended illness. She was born October 6, 1939, at Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Clyde McCoy and the late Helen (Wilson) Rome. On December 4, 1977, she was married to Curtis E. Sellards, who preceded her in death on May 11, 2000. Surviving are one son, Kenny Campbell and wife, Martha Ellen, Madison; five grandchildren, Karrie Dawn Barker and husband, David, Krystal Gail Stollings and husband, Matt, Kandi Jo Plymale and husband, Bill, Brandon Nelson and wife, Cara, Seth, Jason Keffer and wife, Shasta; nine great grandchildren, Austin Campbell, Abigail Stollings, Ethan Barker, Alyson, Blake and Caraline Nelson, Logan, Gracie and Britton Keffer; three step-children, Dennis Sellards, Darlene Earp and Laura Howle; one sister, Frances Cassandra, Marietta, OH. Mrs. Sellards was a graduate of the Clarksburg Beauty Academy and was a licensed beautician and a homemaker. She was a member of the Olive Baptist Church at Julian. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 9, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. Pastor Ray Williams will officiate and interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday and from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Friday. Arrangements were entrusted to the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home.
