OBITUARY: PAULINE MARIE SWICK Pauline Marie Swick, 76, of Philippi, died Thursday evening, December 6, in the Heartland of Clarksburg, following an extended illness. She was born June 21, 1936, at Simpson, Taylor County, a daughter of the late Willie W. And Mary Ethel (Bays) Haller. On April 23, 1955, she was married to Lawrence Lewis Swick who survives at the Heartland of Clarksburg. Also surviving are two daughters, Buffy Bonifield and husband, Pat, Bridgeport, Mary Elsey and husband, Bruce, Inwood; five sons, David Swick, Rev. Howard Swick and wife, Benita, Carl Swick and wife, Linda, all of Philippi, Joseph Swick and companion, Roberta, Lost Creek, Samuel Swick and wife, Tammy, Clarksburg; sisters, Kathleen Swick, Elkins, Irene Thompson, Philippi; brothers, Donald Haller (Sr.), Moatsville, Albert Haller, Philippi; nineteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Daniel William Swick and Lawrence Lee Swick; by one sister, Betty Mullenex and by one brother, Willie Junior Haller. Mrs. Swick was a homemaker and attended the Philippi Southern Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., on Monday, December 10, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. Howard Swick will officiate and interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Saturday, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., the funeral hour on Monday.
