Obituary: K. BRENT NORRIS Karl Brent Norris, 56, of Charles Town, died Friday afternoon, November 29, 2013, at his home, following an extended illness. He was born September 28, 1957 at Philippi, a son of the late Granville and Blonda Pauline (Norris) Miner. On May 18, 1976, he married the former Lisa Ann Holbert, who survives at their home; and two sisters, Diana Gail Miner, Martinsburg and Sherry Lynn Hall, West Union. Mr. Norris was the former construction superintendent for Scott Long Construction and was a former employee of K.D.E. Construction. He was a 1976 graduate of Philip Barbour High School. He was an avid W. V. U. Mountaineer fan and enjoyed traveling. He was Methodist by faith. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 South Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. Ruston Seaman will officiate and interment will follow in the Norris Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday. The Stemple & Forman Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
