Brian Keith Shreve, age 31 years, a native of Elkins, WV and more recently a resident of Oak Hill, WV departed this life Monday evening, December 23, 2013 at Beckley, WV. He had been in his usual health and death was attributed to cardiac arrest.
He was born Monday, June 21, 1982 at Elkins, WV a son of Danny Junior Shreve, of Scarbro, WV; and Kelley Jean Shifflett Haywood and husband David, of Mount Hope, WV. Also surviving are two sons, Breydon Kole Shreve; Jaydon Robert Shreve; two daughters, Lana Channell`e Walker; Reagon Skylar Shreve; one brother, Eric J. Shreve and wife Desiree, of Oak Hill; one sister, Millisa Dawn Monger, of Harrisonburg, VA two nephews, Branson Lane Monger; Dakota Lee Shreve; two nieces, Jamie Lynn Monger; Brooklynn Rayne Shreve; and his paternal grandfather, Earl “Peanut” Shreve, Beverly.
He attended the schools of Fayette County and was a former cook for Wendy’s, Applebee’s, and Bob Evans. He loved spending time at the river with his children, four-wheeling, enjoyed country music and was a noted cook.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 12:30 to 2 PM. At 2 PM on Saturday, funeral services will be held with the Rev. Mike House officiating. Interment will follow at the Beverly Cemetery at Beverly, WV.
