Samuel Blaine Sam Ross Jr 1972-2015 Obituary
Samuel Blaine “Sam” Ross Jr., 42, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Sunday March 29, 2015.
He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected.
Sam was born Friday, June 9, 1972 in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Samuel B. Ross Sr. and Bernice Kay Boyd.
On May 12, 2012 in Elkins, he married the former Lena Teter who survives in Elkins.
Also left to cherish Sam’s memory are six children, Zachary Ross and fiancée Heather of Elkins, Chezaray Posey of Parsons, Aislinn Posey of Buckhannon, Jessen Teter, Zoey Teter and Isaiah Ross, all of Elkins, seven siblings, Melissa McBee and husband Dennis of Elkins, Sam W. Ross and wife Michelle of Beverly, Brandi McCollam and husband Rick, Edward Ross and wife Amber, Wilson Ross and wife Tracy, all of Elkins, Jordan Ross and wife Nicole of Beverly and Charity Ross and companion Jarrett Dudley of Elkins, two grandchildren, Bentley Ross and Rae-leigh Posey and step mom Robin Ross.
Preceding Sam in death besides his parents was one grandson, Ezekiel Posey.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 11AM until 12PM, the funeral hour. Rev. Mike House will officiate and interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Elkins.
