Eva Mae Rexrode Wolford 1921-2015 Obituary
Eva Mae Rexrode Wolford, 93, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Friday morning, March 20, 2015 at the Hospice Care Inpatient Center in Elkins.
Eva was born Friday, July 8, 1921 in Pendleton County, a daughter of the late Charlie Rexrode and Martha Vandevender Rexrode.
She was married to Ira Delmar Wolford who preceded her in death. Left to cherish Eva’s memory are two children, Delmer S. Wolford and wife, Judy of Ohio and Versie R. Smith of Elkins, fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
Eva was preceded in death by one daughter, Pansy Pauline Hedrick and three sisters, Sylvia Lambert, Goldie Persinger, and Louise Gainer. Eva attended the schools of Pendleton County and was a homemaker.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, walking, taking care of her family and spoiling her grandchildren.
She was a Protestant by faith. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 11AM until 12PM, the funeral hour.
Rev. A.H. Belt will officiate and interment will follow in the the American Legion’s Little Arlington Cemetery in Cravensdale.
