Valentina Alice “Tacy” Moore Scott, 51, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Monday, March 2, 2015 at home surrounded by family. Tacy was born Friday, February 14, 1964 in Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Francis Moore and Louvonne Pauline Hannah Moore. On February 14, 1997 in Mill Creek, she married Kelly Mitchell Scott who survives in Mill Creek. They celebrated eighteen years of marriage. Also left to cherish Tacy’s memory is one son, Todd Preston Moore and wife Cathy of Valley Bend, one grandson, Kaden Michael Moore, one sister, Darlene Friel and husband Rob, five brothers, Vencil Hannah and wife April, Gary Moore and wife Devan, Billy Moore and wife Edith, Steve Moore and wife Virginia and Mike Moore and companion Susie, several special brothers and sisters in law, several nieces and nephews, special friend Terry Yeager and her chihuahua, Little. Preceding Tacy in death besides her parents was one brother, Randy Moore. Tacy attended the schools of Randolph County and was an excellent homemaker. She enjoyed raising hens, gardening, camping and fishing. Tacy loved crafting, especially making angels and wind chimes. She was a member of Markley Chapel. Visitation will be at the Randolph Funeral Home on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 10AM until Noon, the funeral hour. Pastor Billy Young will officiate and interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Hemlock.
