Angela Dawn “Angie” Shreve, 29, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life, Monday, April 6, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She had been in her usual health and death was unexpected. Angie was born Sunday, August 4, 1985 in Elkins, a daughter of Edward “Bug” Shreve and wife Rhonda Lynn Arbogast Shreve who survive in Mill Creek. Also left to cherish Angie’s memory is her long time companion, Gary “Shadow” Carpenter, three children, Alyssia Paige Shreve, Trenton Blace Shreve and Cateilyn Marie Mearns, three siblings, Matthew Don Shreve and wife Stacey of Jimtown, Zakery Shreve of Mill Creek and Amber Shreve and companion Dennis Harvey of Elkins, her maternal grandmother, Helen Arbogast of Mill Creek, and three nephews, Logan and E.J. Shreve and Dustin Harvey. Preceding her in death were her maternal grandfather, Don Arbogast, paternal grandparents, Junior and Ressie Shreve, two uncles, Gary Shreve and Randy Arbogast and one aunt, Brenda Shifflett. Angie attended the schools of Randolph County. She enjoyed creating art and spending time with family. Angie will always be remembered for her giving personality and heart of gold. A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Friday from 7PM until 9PM. On Saturday, April 11, 2015, Angie will be moved to Mill Creek Memorial Mission Church where friends may call from 12PM until 1PM, the funeral hour. Rev. Tristan Tenney will officiate and interment will follow in Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville.
