Daniel Thomas “Danny” Delauder, 52, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Monday, June 1, 2015 at Broaddus Hospital in Philippi. Danny was born Sunday, December 16, 1962 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Doyle Junior Delauder and Wilma Mardell Snider Delauder. Left to cherish his memory are three sisters, Cathy Jones and husband Bob of Parsons, Dee-dee Nestor of Elkins and Anita Lockett and husband Jerry of Elkins, two nieces, Tarra Sherrard and Maria Nestor-glaspell, two nephews, Mathew and Joshua Ferguson, great nephew, Austin Sponaugle and great niece, Savanna Sherrard. Danny attended the schools of Randolph County and was a graduate of Elkins High School. He loved his job at the Swan Laundromat in Charleston where he did it all. Danny was an avid sports fan and loved to watch sports of all kinds. He thoroughly enjoyed WVU, Marshall, Pittsburg Pirates and Steelers. He enjoyed all genres of music and loved his two dogs, Abby and TJ. Danny was a wonderful brother and compassionate and loving to everyone he met. Danny was a member of the Church of Christ. Daniel’s request for cremation will be honored. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 1P-2P. The family suggests that memorial contributions can be made in Danny’s name to the Randolph County Humane Society 195 Weese St, Elkins, WV 26241
