Myong Soon Lee Fincham, 88, a resident of Laurel Branch on the Adolph Road, passed from this life Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Davis Medical Center in Elkins. Myong was born Monday, August 8, 1927 in Seoul, Korea in the lineage of Jun Joo. She is a daughter of the late Do Kyung Lee and Kang Nan Kim Lee. On May 1, 1958, at the American Consulate in Seoul, she married Andrew W. Fincham who preceded her in death in 1988. Left to cherish her memory are three children, Andrew Lee “Andy” Fincham, Ann Elaine Beaton and husband Lester and John Goldie Fincham and wife Marcella, all of Laurel Branch, six grandchildren, Arin Dickson and husband Trevor of NC, Alanna Sharp and husband Rick of Mingo, Matthew Fincham of Elkins, Lindsay Fincham, Cherokee Beaton and Victoria Fincham, all of Laurel Branch and three great grandchildren, Angelina, Damian and Andrew. Preceding Myong in death besides her parents and husband was one brother, Myung Kil Lee and two infant sisters. Myong attended school in Seoul, Korea. After marrying Andrew in 1958, they moved back to the United States where Myong was a mother and homemaker. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed visiting with friends in the area. Services will be private.
