Mary Ellen Lambert Marsh, 69, a resident of Beverly, passed from this life Monday, October 19, 2015 at home surrounded by family. Mary was born Sunday, October 28, 1945 in Elkins, a daughter of the late Earl Lambert and Wilda Summerfield Lambert. On February 27, 1987 in DeLand, FL she married Frederick “Fred” Marsh who survives in Beverly. They celebrated 28 years of marriage. Also left to cherish her memory are three children, Kathy Shannon and companion David Trammell of Beverly, Floyd Shannon of Elkins and Victor Shannon and companion Cheryl Patterson of Dailey, three siblings, John Lambert and wife Artie of Montrose, Barbara Ramsey and husband Carl of Beverly and Carolyn McGee and husband Jerry of Valley Bend, three grandchildren, Amanda Scott and husband Keith of Elkins, Ashley Scott and husband Jason of Elkins and Amber Hinchman and husband Benny of Beverly and three great grandchildren, Dustin, Trenton and Katherine. Preceding Mary in death besides her parents were two siblings, Frank Lambert and Lillian Scott and one granddaughter, Crystal Dawn. Mary attended the schools of Randolph County and was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting stuffed animals, her cats and tending to her flowers. Mary’s request for cremation was honored and services will be private.
