Betty Jean McCauley, 85, a resident of Valley Head, passed from this life Tuesday morning, November 3, 2015 at home. Betty was born Wednesday, May 28, 1930 in Huttonsville, a daughter of the late Perry William McCauley and Jospehine Katherine Taylor McCauley. Left to cherish her memory are six children, Sylvia Haney, Vonda Arbogast, both of Hillsboro, Charlotte McCauley of Valley Head, Shirley Lawrence of Harman, Thomas Martin of Elkins and Denzil Martin of Mill Creek, two brothers, Frank and Freddie McCauley of Elkins, seventeen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Preceding her in death besides her parents were eleven siblings and two grandchildren. Betty attended the schools of Randolph County and was a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed reading and listening to music. A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Friday, November 6, 2015 from 2P-3P, the funeral hour. Rev. Randy Long will officiate and interment will follow in Valley Head Cemetery.
