Hilda Burky Wilmoth 1926-2022 Obituary
Hilda Burky Wilmoth, 95, of Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, formerly of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and originally from the Pickens, West Virginia, area, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022.
Daughter of the late Frederick Burky, Jr. and Lena Anna Haslebacher Burky; wife of the late Harry Randolph Wilmoth; devoted mother of James Grove Wilmoth and Kathleen Wilmoth Michael (Thomas R.); loving grandmother of Andrew Wilmoth (Hattie) and their children, Lily, Jasper and Lena; Heather Wilmoth Hastings (Cody) and their children, Luella and Josephine; Patrick Michael (Jaden) and their daughter, Noora; Philip Michael (Cassie) and their children, Theo and Fiona; and Julia Michael Schmidt (Taylor); also survived by her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ralph Burky, Howard Burky and Helen Burky Bryan.
Hilda graduated from Davis & Elkins College and went on to earn her master’s degree in education. She was a school teacher for over 30 years, and a was longtime member of Concord United Methodist Church in Beaver Falls, as well as a Lioness member.
Viewing hours were omitted. Service and interment in Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery was private.
