A Super Sensitive All Wave Crystal Set
Radio Craft May 1933
This Crystal set is an improvement on an earlier set the author submitted as a reader in the December 1932 issue
This crystal set uses two plug in coils to pickup 2 different bands and can tune in the broadcast band and the Short Wave band
The main appeal of this circuit is the plug in coils, but also the large coils that have multiple taps – 11 in total, which should give the radio a nice bandspread and is relatively easy to build
This set uses a galenium detector which can work quite well, but required a lot of patience – much different then our dial turned radios of today
