Andrew Micah Miller, 29, a resident of Elkins, left this earth to be reunited with his beloved grandmother, Florence Miller and the Lord on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Davis Memorial Hospital Elkins, WV. Andrew had been courageously fighting a battle against Lupus for over ten years. Andrew was born Wednesday, April 27, 1983 in Elkins, to Sherri Miller Jackson of Elkins. In addition to his mother, Andrew is survived by his brother Brandon Jackson of Elkins, stepfather Jeff Jackson of Elkins, special aunt Jean Kelley of Elkins and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Preceding him in death were his great grandparents Reverend James Miller and Georgia Miller, maternal grandmother Florence Miller and a very special close friend Pete Robinson. Andrew graduated from Elkins High School in the class of 2001. He loved to listen to music and hang out with friends. He was an Earnhardt fan and a football fan. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and collecting knives, swords and dragons. Andrew loved his family and friends and lived life to the fullest knowing that tomorrow was never a guarantee. He was a kind and loving soul and a true friend to anyone who knew him. He will forever be missed by many Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Elkins First Church of Christ from 5 pm until 7 pm, the funeral hour. Pastor Richard Krug, Reverend Michael Courtwright and Evangelist Gary Kendall will officiate and Andrew’s request for cremation will then be honored.
