Mr. Arch William Talbert, age 80 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away early Sunday, November 11, 2012 at his home. He was born April 22, 1932 at Webster Springs, WV a son of the late William Russell Talbert and the late Mabel Katherine Wyre Talbert. He was married to JoAnne Stidom Talbert who survives in Elkins. Also surviving are two sons, Darren Talbert, Baltimore, MD and Kirk Talbert, Hampstead, NC. One brother, Bob Talbert of Webster Springs, WV and two grandchildren also survive. Mr. Talbert was a graduate of Davis & Elkins College and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a Teacher in the Summit County Ohio Schools for many years prior to his retirement. He was a Methodist by Faith and a member of the Beech Mountain Sportsman’s Club. Mr. Talbert’s remains will be cremated. Interment of the cremains will take place at a later date in the Miller Cemetery in Webster County, WV.
