Barbara Ann Alexander, 59, of Route 1, Moatsville, died Saturday morning, Jan. 12, 2002, in United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Alexander was born Aug. 23, 1942, in Grafton, a daughter of the late Issac and Hallie Blake Poling.
On Feb. 29, 1972, she married Dale Hayes Alexander, who preceded her in death on July 15, 1998.
Surviving are a daughter, Missy Robinson and fiance, Travis Hershman, Moatsville; four sons, Charles Poling and fiance, Candy Poe, Grafton, Virgil Tacy and wife, Roxanne, Buckhannon, Jeff Tacy and wife, Sis, Philippi, Odis Dale Alexander and fiance, Melissa Funk, Moatsville; two brothers, Buck and Faye Poling and Johnnie and Thelma Poling, all of Grafton; two sisters, Elaine and Tom Mauller and Nancy Sapp and Ed Gordon, all of Grafton; eight grandchildren, Michael Alexander, Nathaniel Delauder, Cody Lee Tacy, Chad Tacy, Bobbie Jo Funk, J.D. Tacy, Candy Robinson and Ricki Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Callie “Jean” Austin, and Martha “Micki” Slaton; and a brother, Issac “Dow” Poling.
Mrs. Alexander was a homemaker. She was a Mormon by faith.
